Join PYP as we host the First Annual The Pittsburgh Chili Cook-Off in the historic Allegheny Commons Park! All funds raised will be used to cover the cost and aid non-profit efforts in the Greater Pittsburgh Region.

Groups or individuals can sign up to enter a chili. If you are a business or group, you can enter a chili for $50, Individuals $25, and PYP Members $10. Attendees will donate $1 to the cook(s) who made their favorite chili. The chili with the most donations will claim the prize Best Chili in Pittsburgh! If you are interested in participating as a chef/sponsor/sales booth please contact outreach and Luke Stephens by Monday, October 18!

Clubs/Vendors/Individuals will have to supply their own tent, table and chili stand. PYP will supply tablecloths, eating utensils, chili tasting cups and long burning candles to keep pots warm for the event.

There are five levels of participation.

  1. Enter your home-made chili:
    Group/Business: $50
    Individual: $25 PYP
    Member: $10
  2. Become a sponsor, please email stephensluke2017@gmail.com
  3. Attend as a judge, we ask that you donate $5 to 'pghchili2021' to help cover the costs of this years event
  4. Volunteer to help setup, work, and tear down the event
  5. Have a sales booth: $100
