  Volunteering with Auberle in McKeesport 

  Come pack some hygiene kits with PYP while supporting local kiddos and connecting with other young professionals.

  Join us for a meaningful evening of service as we partner with Auberle to support children and families in the McKeesport community.

  During this hands-on volunteer event, we'll work together to assemble hygiene kits that will provide essential personal care items to children in need. These kits help ensure young people have access to everyday necessities while supporting their health, confidence, and well-being.

  In addition to volunteering, we'll hear directly from the Auberle team about their mission of building strong individuals, families, and communities throughout our region. You'll learn about the organization's broad impact, the programs they provide, and the many ways they are creating lasting change across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

  We'll also explore opportunities to stay involved beyond this volunteer event, including Auberle's newly relaunched NEXT Society—a network of young professionals dedicated to supporting Auberle's mission through volunteerism, advocacy, philanthropy, and community engagement.

  Whether you're looking to give back, learn more about the needs in our community, or connect with others who are passionate about making a difference, this event is a great opportunity to create a meaningful impact together.

  Ignite Your Network: Young Professional Gathering

  Join the Pittsburgh Young Professionals (PYP) and the North Shore Chamber of Commerce for an evening of meaningful connections, great food, and a unique networking experience.

  Expand your professional network while enjoying light finger foods on a first-come, first-served basis, exciting raffle opportunities throughout the evening, 10% off drinks, and the chance to connect with professionals from across the Pittsburgh region. Bring your business cards - they will serve as your raffle tickets for multiple prize drawings.

  For those interested, we will offer a special "Burn & Learn" mini-masterclass on cigar-smoking etiquette. Whether you are new to cigars or looking to refine your knowledge, this optional session will cover cigar selection, cutting, lighting, etiquette, and networking tips in a relaxed setting. You can indicate your interest upon registering for the event.

  Run or Walk with PUMPed to Run for its Annual 5K

  This is the program's primary fundraiser, which helps them to serve the homeless population in Pittsburgh by providing shoes, clothing, support, and mentorship to its shelter participants!

  Participants may begin arriving at 7:30 for check-in, rain or shine! The race will be an out-and-back on the Riverfront Trail, with water, coffee, and bananas provided afterward. Clean bathrooms will be made available for race participants, too.

  This event costs $25 if you pay in advance and $35 on the day of the event, so come join the fun! All are welcome to participate. Walkers, runners, strollers, kiddos, and leashed dogs are welcome to join. If you join, all finishers are entered into a raffle and are eligible to win!

  Post Clock Cocktail Hour at Margaux

  Join PYP for a perfect way to shed the workday's stresses away at Margaux in East Liberty with shareable plates, signature desserts, and rotating cocktails.

  Picture this:

  You walk into this cafe-turned-into-a-bar and feel the vibe instantly. The art. The colors. The vines from the light fixture. The seating. The varying lights. The greenery. Talk about a chef's kiss!

  But what is really the chef's kiss is Margaux's current cocktail collection, awesome espresso, and its small bites! Margaux transforms from a European cafe during the day to a European bar in the evening. 

  Join PYP for a Euro-esque night on Penn Avenue with some free apps, socializing, and tasty drinks!

  Join PYP for a Summer Night Out Enjoying America's Favorite Pastime

  Your ticket includes a $5 merchandise/concession credit and a $4 donation to PYP. We know we are a little late, but planning for a good event can take time. Sales for the tickets end ➡️ next ⬅️ Friday, August 7th, at 2:30 PM, so make sure to register sooner rather than later! 

  PYP board members will meet PYP members at the Crow's Nest Bar (near section 105) to mix and mingle while enjoying happy-hour prices at 5:30 p.m. until the game starts at 6:40 p.m.

  If you cannot make it to the mix-and-mingle, all good! We will see you in section 112, which is ⬇️

  • Covered seating so no worries on sun and rain
  • Near the field AND home base ⚾️
  • Not as high up, so no vertigo ‍ ‍

  Your attendance and support at this event will help PYP to continue to put on great events all year long. Let's watch our Pittsburgh Pirates play ball and cheer on our favorite pierogi during the race, of course!

  Tickets are $50, which includes all fees, a $5 concession or merch credit, and a $4 donation to PYP.

  • When registering, you pay the $50
  • A PYP Board member will finalize the purchase of the tickets for the game, but here are some things to know:
  • • No refunds, except for extreme or medical circumstances.
    • We can add tickets to our initial group ticket purchase.
    • We will communicate with you on how to get your ticket.
  • Your ticket will have the $5 concession value added to it.
  • • Each ticket includes $5 in loaded value attached to the same barcode used for entry.
    • At a concession stand, simply tell the cashier you'd like to use your loaded value.
    • At self-checkout, select "Loaded Value" as your payment method.
    • It works similarly to a gift card and will automatically be applied to your purchase.
